Zesty Grilled Tilapia

Baked Tilapia Recipe Ingredients

* 6 (6-ounce) tilapia fillets
* 6 tablespoons olive oil, plus additional for brushing
* 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
* 6 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
* 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
* 1 teaspoon hot sauce, to taste
* 1 teaspoon salt
* Freshly ground black pepper
* Mango Coconut Rice, recipe follows

Baked Tilapia Recipe Instructions

Place the fish in a large nonmetal dish. Whisk together the 6 tablespoons oil, the orange zest, orange juice, ginger, hot sauce, salt, and pepper, to taste; pour over the fish. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare grill. Brush the fish with additional oil. Grill until fish just flakes when tested with a fork, about 5 minutes per side for each inch of thickness.

Serve alongside Mango Coconut Rice
Mango Coconut Rice:

* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 1/2 cups long-grain rice
* 1 (14-ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk
* 2/3 cup water
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 large ripe mango, peeled and cubed

In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the rice and stir to coat with the oil. Add the coconut milk, water, and salt; bring to a boil. Stir in the mango. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer about 20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.

Remove the rice from the heat and fluff with a fork. Place a clean, dry dish towel over the pan, cover with the lid, and let steam for 5 minutes before serving...enjoy the tilapia !

Tilapia With Cilantro Cream Sauce

BAKED TILAPIA RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

* 1 1/2 pounds tilapia fillets
* 1 tablespoon melted butter
* Salt and pepper
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 clove garlic, finely minced
* 2 green onions, thinly sliced
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 tablespoon lime juice
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

BAKED TILAPIA RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat; sauté the garlic and onion for 1 to 2 minutes. Add cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes to reduce slightly. Stir in cilantro, lime juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 1 minute longer. Set aside or refrigerate until nearly serving time.Heat oven to 375°.

Line a baking pan with foil; spray with nonstick cooking spray. Brush fillets lightly with butter; arrange in the baking pan.
Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake the fish for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through. Warm the sauce up and drizzle a little over each serving of fish. The baked tilapia recipe is ready to serves 4. Nice taste !

Baked Tilapia Recipe Ingredients

* 4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, or to taste
* 1 lemon, thinly sliced
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill

Baked Tilapia Recipe Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Season the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper and Cajun seasoning on both sides. Arrange the seasoned fillets in a single layer in the baking dish. Place a layer of lemon slices over the fish fillets. I usually use about 2 slices on each piece so that it covers most of the surface of the tilapia fish.
3. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until tilapia fish flakes easily with a fork.
4. While the tilapia fish is baking, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, lemon juice and dill in a small bowl. Serve with tilapia...nice ! Enjoy it !

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
Baked Tilapia Recipe Ingredients

* 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
* 2 pounds tilapia fillets

Baked Tilapia Recipe Instructions

1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
3. Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the tilapia fish...enjoy it !

Baked Tilapia Recipe Ingredients
  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce

Baked Tilapia Recipe Instructions

Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Brush the tilapia fillets with oil on both sides, season with Creole seasoning to taste, then place into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven until the flesh is no longer translucent, and the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the garlic, and cook until the garlic has softened and the aroma has mellowed, about 2 minutes. Stir in the Alfredo sauce and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low, and keep warm until the fish is ready. Pour the sauce over the fish to serve. Sprinkle with additional Creole seasoning if desired...enjoy the baked tilapia !

Seared Lemon Pepper Tilapia with Creamy Pumpkin

Seared Lemon Pepper Tilapia with Creamy Pumpkin Seed Vinaigrette Salad topped with Pomegranate Seeds

Baked Tilapia Ingredients

* Creamy Pumpkin Seed Dressing:
* 1/4 cup champagne vinegar (or other high-quality white wine vinegar)
* 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
* 1/2 shallot, finely chopped
* 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
* 2 egg yolks, from pasteurized eggs
* 1 cup pumpkin seed oil or extra-virgin olive oil
* 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
* 1 tablespoon ice water, if needed
* 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, preferably gray salt
* 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
* 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, toasted lightly in oven

Tilapia:
* 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 2 cups Progresso® lemon pepper Panko crispy bread crumbs
* 6 (6 ounce) tilapia fillets
* 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
* 1/2 lemon, cut into wedges

Salad:
* 3 small heads of butter lettuce, washed and dried well, torn
* 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

Baked Tilapia Instructions :
1. In food processor, place the vinegar, mustard, shallot, thyme and pasteurized egg yolks. Cover; process until smooth. With the machine running, add the 1 cup pumpkin seed oil and then the 1 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon at a time. If the mixture gets too thick, add the 1 tablespoon ice water. Season with the salt and pepper. Stir in pumpkin seeds. Refrigerate while making tilapia.
2. Place the flour, 2 eggs and the bread crumbs in 3 separate shallow dishes. Dip each fillet in flour then in eggs and finally, dredge on both sides in bread crumbs, shaking off the excess.
3. Heat 2 skillets over high heat. Divide 3 tablespoons olive oil evenly between skillets. When hot, add the fish; reduce heat to medium, and cook until nicely browned, about 5 minutes. Turn fish and cook on the second side until the fish is done throughout (test with a fork), about 4 minutes, depending on thickness.
4. Transfer the fish to 6 individual plates. Garnish with the lemon wedges. Toss the lettuce with a portion of the dressing; divide among plates of fish. Spoon some of the additional dressing over the fish; sprinkle pomegranate seeds over all, and enjoy.

Baked Tilapia Recipe Ingredients:

* 2 tablespoons butter
* 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
* dash pepper
* dash salt
* pinch dried dillweed or parsley
* dash paprika
* 4 tilapia fillets

BAKED TILAPIA RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
In saucepan, combine butter, garlic, pepper, salt, dillweed, and paprika. Heat over low heat until butter is melted and starts simmering. Remove from heat. Brush a little of the butter mixture in
the bottom of a shallow baking dish (line baking dish with foil, if desired) then place tilapia fillets on the buttered area. Brush top of each tilapia fillet with the seasoned butter mixture. Bake at
350° for 12 to 15 minutes, until tilapia flakes easily with a fork.
