Broiled Tilapia Fillets

Broiled Tilapia Fillets...a great tilapia recipe to try !

Ingredients:

* 1 1/2 pounds frozen tilapia, thawed
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 cup melted butter
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* paprika

Preparation:
Place tilapia fillets in a shallow dish; sprinkle with garlic powder. Combine melted butter, lemon juice, and soy sauce; pour over tilapia then turn to coat. Let stand for 10 minutes. Place fish on broiler pan then broil about 4 inches from heat for about 5 minutes on each side, or until fish
flakes easily with a fork. Sprinkle with paprika. The baked tilapia recipe serves 4 persons...nice one !

Tilapia With Dill and Sour Cream

Ingredients:

* 6 to 8 tilapia fillets
* Salt and pepper
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 1/3 cup mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
* 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
* 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
* 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish or a baking dish large enough to hold the tilapia in a single layer.
Place tilapia fillets in the baking dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and spread evenly over the fillets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Baked Tilapia Recipe With Cajun Bread Crumb Topping

Ingredients:

* 4 to 6 tilapia fillets
* 1 cup soft fresh bread crumbs
* 4 tablespoons butter, divided
* 1 1/2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
* Pinch dried thyme
* 1/2 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease a large shallow baking dish. Arrange fish fillets on the prepared baking pan. Brush with 1 tablespoon of the melted butter. Combine the remaining
3 tablespoons of butter with the bread crumbs and seasonings.

Sprinkle the crumbs over the tilapia fillets. Bake the fish fillets for 15 to 20 minutes, or until fish is cooked through. Fish will flake easily with a fork when done. Carefully remove the fillets to plates with a spatula. The baked tilapia recipe is ready to serves 4 persons....enjoy it !

Baked Tilapia With Dijon and Panko Coating

Ingredients:

* 4 tilapia fillets, about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
* 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
* 2 teaspoons honey Dijon mustard or Dijon mustard
* 1 cup panko bread crumbs
* 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
* Dash pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation:
Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease a large shallow baking dish or spray with nonstick cooking spray.Combine the mayonnaise and mustard; rub the mixture over the tilapia fillets.

In a food processor, combine the panko and fine bread crumbs, paprika, parsley, pepper, onion powder, and salt. Pulse 4 to 6 times to combine. Pour bread crumb mixture into a wide, shallow bowl. Dip the coated fillets in the mixture, turning to coat both sides.
Arrange the coated fillets in the prepared baking dish.Bake the tilapia fish fillets for 15 to 18 minutes, or until fish is cooked through. The time depends on thickness of the fillets. Fish will flake easily with a fork when done.Carefully remove the tilapia fillets to plates with a spatula.

BUTTERY-CRUSTED BAKED TILAPIA

BUTTERY-CRUSTED BAKED TILAPIA .....a great baked tilapia recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 6-oz boneless tilapia filets
  • 6-8 Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon adobo seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold

INSTRUCTIONS
Arrange fish on a lined baking sheet. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with seasoned salt, chili powder, and adobo seasoning (use clean hands to mix).

Cut butter into 6 equal pats. Place one pat a piece directly on the center of the tilapia. Cut remaining 2 pats into pea-sized pieces and mix by hand into cracker mixture. Sprinkle crumbs equally over each tilapia filet.

Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 15-20 minutes, or desired doneness. Serve hot on a nice platter. The baked tilapia recipe is ready to serve...enjoy it !

BAKED TILAPIA RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
* 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
* 4 tablespoons tomato paste
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
* 1 large onion, sliced
* 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
* 4 tablespoons butter

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat bottom of a medium baking dish with about 1/4 cup olive oil.
2. In a small bowl, blend remaining olive oil, tomato paste, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
3. Arrange tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin side up. With a spatula, spread the olive oil and tomato paste mixture over the tilapia, heaping the majority in the centers of the
fillets. Arrange onion and green pepper slices on and around the fillets.
4. Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, until fish is easily flaked with a fork. Remove from heat, top each fillet with 1 tablespoon butter, and set oven to broil. Broil 5 to 7 minutes, until butter is melted and lightly brown. The baked tilapia recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the meal !

EASY BAKED TILAPIA...try this great baked tilapia recipe...!

INGREDIENTS

* 4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
* 2 teaspoons butter
* 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM, or to taste
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
* 1 lemon, sliced
* 1 (16 ounce) package frozen cauliflower with broccoli and red pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees F). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Place the tilapia fillets in the bottom of the baking dish and dot with butter. Season with Old Bay seasoning and garlic salt. Top each one with a slice or two of lemon. Arrange the frozen mixed vegetables around the fish, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Cover the dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until vegetables are tender and fish flakes easily with a fork. The baked tilapia recipe is ready to serve...great taste !
